He is a warrior who is in constant search for a challenge and won't be satisfied until he finds that challenge. Having a game without Mitsurugi is like eating a burger without cheese. So without further ado, let the countdown begin with. Like Maxi for example, he's a cool character with a good weapon-style, but his arc is pretty repetitive and stuck on revenge even after getting it in Soulcalibur. There are characters who aren't on this list that I liked, but I just couldn't think of much to talk about them.

It just means that there were characters in the series roster who I liked more than others.
It doesn't mean that I hate that character. If you happen to not see one of your favorite characters on my list, too bad. I'm also excluding Bonus Characters for the same reason and they are essentially guest characters within their own right. So don't expect to see Kratos, Ezio, Spawn or any other guest character on the list.
Sorry GC fans, but that just wouldn't be fair to other canonical characters. No Guest Characters, which means no Link. So with Soul Calibur Unbreakable Souls being a cellphone game and with Lost Swords unreleased State Side, the Soul series is kind of quiet at the moment.Įveryone has that one thing in the series that absolutely draws them just like with any other game.
